Ernest PAGE, a blacksmith at Nayland, was born at Boxted, Essex on 26 July 1869 son of John PAGE and Elizabeth Mary COLE. He married Rose Anna SARGEANT at Nayland, Suffolk on 7 May 1895.

Ernest was a blacksmith at Nayland, living at Birch Street (1901 census). He died 22 Apr 1928 aged 58. His widow Rose Anna Page, known as "Granny Page", died 2 Nov 1949 aged 75.
