Frederick was born on 27 July 1874 at Whitchurch railway station, Hampshire. Son of Maurice Shrimpton and Jane WHITELAND. He married Minnie Elizabeth COMPTON at All Saints Church, New Windsor, Berkshire on 5 Dec 1903. At the time of the 1901 census, Frederick, a carpenter, was living at the home of his brother-in-law James Harding, 94 Grove Road, New Windsor.

Frederick and Minnie continued living at New Malden, Surrey. Minnie died in 1958, Frederick in 1959.
